Christ Our Life Church (COLC) located in Curran, MI is a local body of God fearing, Christ exalting, Bible saturated, sinners who have been miraculously saved by the Lord Jesus Christ for his own glory. We exist to live out God's calling on us as his people to be holy as he is holy. "We believe that God is most gloriously pleased in people who are most gloriously holy in Christ Jesus."
Evangelism: We are called and sent of God to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations so that God may be pleased to redeem the lives of all those people whom He has called by His saving grace who repent of their sins and believe with God’s gift of faith in the person and work of the crucified, buried and risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. [Matt. 28:18-20 and Mk. 16:15-16]
Edification: As God the Holy Spirit brings born again people into God the Heavenly Father’s Kingdom, it is the ministry of the Church of The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, (and our ministry also as CHRIST OUR LIFE CHURCH), to preach the whole counsel of God’s Word to those whom God has made to be His people in Christ; -so that as Christ’s body (in the local church) we may assemble together to worship God in His Spirit and in His Truth, as we are looking unto the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus Christ, so that as His disciples we may grow in His grace and in His knowledge; -all to the Glory of God! [Eph. 4:1-16]
As blood bought, born again saints IN CHRIST, we teach the doctrine and engage in the practice of doing the work of ministry! (Ephesians 4:11-16)
We know that GOD, by His WORD (The Bible), and through the power and presence
of the indwelling Holy Spirit, equips His saints with the gifts and resources to
accomplish His will in and among the body of Christ!
For What End?
Colossians 1:16 - 'For by Him (Christ) all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him.'
